The blades of these comfortable Bubinga handled carving knives are made from high carbon steel, hardened to Rc62, easy to hone to the sharpest possible edge.

 As a 1 1/4" Bladed Marking Knife it is an inexpensive, lightweight, easy to sharpen, a delightful tool to use, one that will absolutely be on your bench constantly, the handle shape is such that you can hold it as a pen or as a full handed knife, and it will not roll off your bench.
