Wood carving

This form of woodworking by means of a cutting tool (knife) in one hand or by using a chisel by two hands or with chisel and mallet create beautiful artifacts with only a few tools and little space.

It is a skill worth cultivating as it can produce useful utensils like spoons or enhance cabinetry with custom designs and speaks to "hand made" like no other method.
